Worship: Celtic Stream

Celtic Stream .png

Every Sunday at 9am somewhere in the Benefice we Celtic service. The idea behind this stream is that draws heavily on the spirituality of the early Celtic saints who were amongst the first people in this country to practice Christianity.

Those services are:

  • A Service of Celtic Communion at  9am at St. Peter's Grandborough  on the First Sunday of the month (this is a service which uses a mixture of liturgy taken from the Northumbria Community and the Authorised Liturgy from the Church of England)

  • A Service of Celtic Morning Prayer at 9am at St Peter's Bourton on the Second Sunday of the month (Using liturgy from the Northumbria Community)

  •  A Celtic Breakfast Service at 9am at St Peter's Grandborough on the third Sunday of the month. In this service we use share  a pastry breakfast together in the  middle of a short informal service .

  • A Breakfast Service at 9am at St Mark's, Flecknoe on the fourth Sunday of the month (In this service we use share  a cooked breakfast together in the  middle of a short informal service .

  • On the fifth Sunday of the month we do things a bit differently so please do check the latest news section of this website

Everyone is very welcome at our Celtic services whether the consider themselves  regular Church goers or not.
